IHHT is short for intermittent hypoxic-hyperoxic training. Through a breathing mask, you alternate between air with less and more oxygen. It's often called cell training because the stimulus works at cellular level.

Is IHHT the same as altitude training?
They're related. Classic altitude training happens in the mountains or in an altitude tent. With IHHT, the altitude stimulus comes through the air you breathe — alternating with oxygen-rich air while you lie still.
Do I need to be sporty for altitude training in Palma?
No. Sessions take place lying down or seated, with no physical effort. The intervals are tailored to you and monitored by sensors throughout.
How long does a session take?
Usually 20 to 40 minutes, including settling in, the interval phase and a short review.
Do cyclists and triathletes in Mallorca use IHHT?
Yes — many active people on the island add IHHT as a calm session between hard days in the Serra de Tramuntana. We don't promise specific performance outcomes.
